Mike started Russell Engineering, Inc. in 2001 and has over 30 years experience in civil engineering and project management and is a licensed engineer in the state of Colorado and New Mexico. Spending roughly half of his career in the public sector, he understands public process and tools for successful entitlement. He served as County Engineer for La Plata County, Colorado where he was in charge of all land development engineering reviews and all road and bridge improvement projects, including working with local, tribal and state governmental officials. As a private consultant, he has planned, designed, and reviewed construction on a multitude of projects including residential, tribal, commercial, industrial, and resorts. He also has experience in master planned communities from planning through construction.
