Project Description: Prepared master grading, drainage, water, sewer, and transportation plans for a master planned community east of Durango. Master plan is approved for over 1,000 homes on over 500 acres. Phase I construction included over $4 million in infrastructure improvements, including highway improvements, a 600,000 gallon water tank, pump station improvements, and on-site infrastructure improvements. Phase 2 consisted of completion of over 3 miles of paved roadway constructed through mountainous terrain with over 100,000 cy of earthwork and associated utility extensions. Phases 3 and 4, consisting of over 3 miles of road and 100+ lots, have been designed and approved and are currently under construction. All phases involved preparation of construction cost estimates, bid documents, and construction observation.
